Traditional and Non-Traditional Texts
  • The College Bookstore requires Faculty to submit textbook requisition forms for each course section they are scheduled to teach.
  • All course materials must be purchased through the College Bookstore.
  • The College Bookstore requests that textbook orders be submitted on or before the posted deadline.
  • Adjunct Faculty should submit the textbook requisition form for their course sections to the Bookstore for course material procurement.
  • Faculty members must order complimentary and/or review copies directly from the publisher.
  • Please notify the Bookstore if you have any changes or additions to your textbook requisition.
Faculty Custom Edition
  • Course packs are used in addition to or in place of traditional texts the course pack can contain any materials required for the course of study including articles, chapters and portions of textbooks.
  • Copyright permission clearance is required for all published content in a course pack.
  • Copyright notification is included on all printed course packs sold in the Bookstore.
  • eCourse Pack: Electronic distribution on Blackboard, if allowed by copyright holder, may also be available.

  • After content clears the permission process the appropriate copyright notice is added and the instructor can post the material.
  • The College Bookstore requests faculty to adhere to the same deadline requests for traditional texts.
Copyright Compliance
  • Published content for distribution to students in the classroom or on Blackboard should go through the permission clearing process.
